What is CBD? described CBD best as, “Short for Cannabidiol, CBD is a chemical compound from the hemp plant. It's a naturally occurring substance that's used in products like oils and edibles to impart a feeling of relaxation and calm. Unlike its cousin tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it's not psychoactive.” -

There are over one hundred cannabinoids in the hemp plant.

Your body naturally produces endogenous cannabinoids similar to those found in hemp. These molecules make up the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) which plays a significant role in sleep, mood regulation, appetite, memory, and regulating your body's sense of balance.
Experts believe that the primary function of the ECS is to maintain homeostasis, or balance, the stability of your body’s internal environment. Anxiety often creates an extreme disruption to the body’s internal stability, sending the ECS into overdrive. If left untreated, anxiety can cause a vast amount of physical side effects such as adrenal fatigue, sleep disturbances, cardiovascular disease, and more.

Our process

We use the most pure form of CBD, isolate, in our products to ensure that quality. CBD isolate is a powder form of pure CBD. This is different than full spectrum products which legally can contain up to 0.3% THC. Our CBD is extracted using the C02 method from the hemp plant. Currently, there are three commonly used ways to extract CBD from Hemp, C02, Ethanol, and Olive oil.

Ways To Extract CBD:

  1. C02 Method: This method involves using the gas C02 as a liquid solvent at certain temperatures and pressures to extract the CBD and cannabinoids from the Hemp plant. Widely regarded as the cleanest way to extract CBD.

  2. Ethanol Method: This method uses ethanol as a solvent to extract the CBD from the Hemp plant.

  3. Olive Oil: Olive oil is used as a solvent as the Hemp plant is heated to specific temperatures to begin the process of decarboxylation (which activates the plants chemicals).
